Re-echoing President Weah's Vision to provide Hope for Liberians; NPA Boss concludes discussions for official launch of NPA’s Scholarship scheme
As part of efforts to buttress H. E. President George M. Weah’s Commitment for Port Sector Reform through human development, a three-man NPA delegation to the United States has finalized talks aimed at mobilizing funds intended to provide capacity building opportunities for deserving Liberian students.
Hon. Diana Nebo, Managing Director of the National Port Authority (NPA), as head of the visiting delegation to the United States, sees the move as a direct manifestation of President George Weah’s vision for Liberians to acquire education, especially those with career interests in Port Related disciplines.
1. The Government of the Republic of Liberia through the National Port Authority intends to apportion part of its revenue for Fiscal Years 2015/2016 towards the Construction of Rigid Pavement, Streetlights, Sidewalks and Drainages in the Freeport of Monrovia under the contract IFB No NPA/ICB/002/15/16.
